It contained If You Girls Only Knew the top-selling single. Aaliyah was recognized internationally as an R&B artist with the release of her second album, One In A Million. She made her debut in 2000. appeared alongside the legendary martial artist Jet Li for the film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, film producer and director of the film Romeo Must Die caught her during an awards event. The film she was in was the film based on Anne Rice, a vampire movie Queen of the Damned, that premiered in 2002. The year 2003 saw her starred as a character in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. She has been awarded four Grammy nomination
