Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer, born on August 4, 1981, is an American actor. She is most famous for her performances in the films The Haunting of Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. The actress is currently playing Amantha in Rectify, a Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress on film and television. Her fame was based on her roles as a character in Rectify (a dramatic) and Timeless (a sci-fi). Born in Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut in the part in the soap-opera All My Children. Her character in the soap drama All My Children earned the actress an award by Soap Opera Digest for Best Female Newcomer. Her main role was role as guest actors throughout the span of several years. In the series Hawthorne the actress was widely acknowledged for her character of the role of Dr. Erin Jameson. As time went on, her gorgeous looks and powerful acting abilities led to her gaining a loyal fan base. At the age twenty she made her first appearance in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film where she played a leading role. Her role in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. The lead role in Timeless plays Lucy Preston, history professor. Spencer has been nominated for the Teen Choice Award after her performance on the show received praise from viewers and critics.
