DMX, DMX, an American actor and rapper, began singing in the 1990s. On May 19th 1998, he debuted the first single titled It's dark and hell is hot. DMX released other albums like... And There Was X as well as the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast, Grand Champ. In 2001, his album titled... as well as There was X earned him the Grammy nomination in the category of Best Rap Album. Alongside his music projects, he also appeared in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Will Never Die Alone The Bleeding Romeo Has to Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
