Anita Barone

Barone starred in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld's fourth season as Gail Cunningham, a chef who was looking to buy Elaine Benes' shoes. The early 90s saw Barone appeared on a number of occasions in Carol & Company as a co-star alongside Carol Burnett. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's previous wife on her debut Friends appearance. Barone left the show when she was looking for a more full-time role she was taken over by Jane Sibbett. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 until 1996, and The War at Home from 2005 to 2007. Barone was a co-star on Daddio (2000). Her other TV credits include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone's work on the film One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. Three years later, after The War at Home ended the film's run, Barone started her role as a recurring character on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's actor husband, guest-starred in the show for two seasons. Shake It Up in the role as J.J. Jones.
